Andrew Hogg

Andrew Hogg was born in Kingston, England on March 2, 1985. At 6, he came to Malta and joined the Sliema Wanderers Nursery. He started playing in the role of a defender, later he joined Luxol and changed his role into a goalkeeper.

At the age of 13, Andrew joined Pieta H. Nursery. He made his debut in the Premier League with the Hotspurs at the age of 16.

During his career with Pieta Hotspurs, he also had a short spell with Bari FC in Italy. Andrew Hogg joined Valletta FC in June 2007 and signed a five-year contract.

Andrew left Valletta FC in 2012, he made a total of 170 appearances with the White Shirt. Andrew won 3 Championships, FA Trophy, Euro Cup, 2 Super Cups, Mare Blue Cup and also the Betfair Cup vs Juventus with the Citizens. He then joined Enosis Neon Paralimni FC in Greece and during the following season, Andrew moved to AEL Kalloni F.C. another Greek football club based in Kalloni, Lesbos.

In 2016, Andrew Hogg returned to Malta and joined Hibernians FC and in 2019 Andrew joined Birkirkara FC, making a total of 28 appearances for the Stripes.

In 2021, after over 20 years in professional football, former Malta and Valletta FC goalkeeper Andrew Hogg decided to hang up his gloves and take on a new and exciting role in tackling one of the island’s most fundamental sporting issues, mental performance.Statistics Andrew Hogg
